MacBook Airplay

The following article will guide you through the steps to wirelessly AirPlay your MacBook to an Apple TV.

Below will show you how to start and end screen mirroring. 

• On a Mac with MacBook click on the Control Center icon in the top right of your screen.

• Click on the Screen Mirroring icon .

• Then choose the Apple TV you want to use.

• Enter the 4 digit code that will be on the TV screen.

• To end screen mirroring, click  to open Control Center, click , then click the name of the Apple TV or click Stop Mirroring.

Below will show you how to change your screen setting to switch from 

• On a Mac with MacBook click on the Control Center icon in the top right of your screen.

• Click on the Screen Mirroring icon .

• Then choose the Apple TV you want to use.

• Enter the 4 digit code that will be on the TV screen.

• Click Change.
• Then you can change the settings.
  • Entire Screen will mirror what is on your MacBook screen. 
  • Extended Display will make a 2nd screen option for you. This will allow you to keep working on your MacBook screen, but the students will only see what is on the TV/2nd screen.

• After you click on one of the options, then click Start Mirroring.
