The below article will show you how to send an SMS/Text Message from 3CX to a cell phone.
If you will be sending a lot of messages to the same cell phone number, you may want to add the number to your contacts. Here is a link showing you how to add phone numbers to your contacts: Add Contacts (outside of the district).
Send an SMS/Text Message to a Contact.
- Under the Chat tab, click the + icon.
- Click Send SMS.
- Find the contact in the New Conversation popup window.
- Type your SMS/Text Message and click enter.
Send an SMS/Text Message to a phone number that is not a Contact.
- Under the Chat tab, click the + icon.
- Click Send SMS.
- Type the phone number starting with +1.
- Example: +13208452171
- Type your SMS/Text Message and click enter.
